Hello, I am Aaliyah Solano, a fourth-year multimedia journalism major, staff writer for the Loyola Phoenix, and entertainment intern for Trill Mag.
Whether I’m reviewing films, television, music, or sporting events, writing satirical opinion pieces, or capturing footage and audio for compelling stories, I strive to create content that promotes authenticity and creativity as a multi-platform storyteller.
My free time usually consists of listening to the latest music releases as a self-proclaimed music connoisseur and binging all things reality TV from competition series "The Challenge" to all the "Real Housewives" Franchises — no better way to decompress than watching grown women ruin each other’s lives in the name of entertainment.
As much as I love and am always prepared to interview or write a killer review, a longtime dream of mine is to work behind the scenes as a showrunner of my own television series, leading the production and writing teams, and having a say in casting.
