With Halloween tomorrow, it’s easy to recall universal and common phobias from childhood. While many have a fear of spiders, death or ghosts, this time of year forces me to confront something more unorthodox — I have a crippling fear of 80’s pop-king Michael Jackson. I can pinpoint the exact moment this fear took over my life.
A pivotal presidential election is just around the corner. With the stakes so high and time running so short, it’s surprising the two candidates aren’t focused on their policies, but have rather dedicated their campaigns to getting as much influencer support as possible, in hopes of winning this seeming popularity contest.
The Netflix documentary “Mr. McMahon” details the damning rise and fall of disgraced former World Wrestling Entertainment chairman Vince McMahon.
Amidst rumors McMahon attempted to prevent Netflix from releasing the series, his reasoning becomes understandable given the unflattering light the series sheds on the media mogul’s life.
There are many ways to relieve stress, such as exercising, meditating, picking up a hobby or talking to a mental health professional. Despite these championed strategies, many use unconventional methods to unwind after a long and grueling day, like binge-watching shows — specifically reality TV.
Kendrick Lamar was announced as the headliner for the 2025 Super Bowl, signifying yet another year in which Roc Nation, Apple Music and the NFL have missed the mark in deciding who deserves the spotlight at one of the biggest televised events of the year.

As award show season picks up, fans once again have the opportunity to watch their favorite artists become recognized, deliver memorable performances or make fools of themselves.
The ceremony was held at the UBS Arena in New York City and seemed more like a school assembly than an award show. However, a few standout performances made the three-hour broadcast worthwhile.
